The small alleys of Yongkang Street hide a good number of stylish cafes, Cafe Flat White being one of them. If you are lucky enough to find yourself a seat here (they don’t take reservations), it’s a perfectly comfortable spot to spend the afternoon.

Cool light, but I hit my head on this twice…They need to rethink the placement of this green couch.

Among the few of us, we tried Flat White (140 NTD), Mocha (165 NTD), Latte (160 NTD), Chai Latte (180 NTD). Love the latte art.

We also shared a piece of caramel fruit cake (150 NTD). Not spectacular, but no harm done.

A very pleasant space with very pleasant people. Come try your luck at finding a seat, and even if Cafe Flat White is full, there are plenty of other cafes in the neighborhood worth your time. Walk around and discover.

I’ve visited Taiwan a few times and always thought it was reasonably priced. However 160 NTD, about £3.35 for a Latte! Makes living in London seem like a bargain! I can get a really good Latte for around £2.30 (110 NTD) here.
This cafe is now closed, though there is another cafe at the same site (no flat white though).
