Agnes b. has built herself a little empire in the Hong Kong IFC building, and named it La Loggia after her grandmother’s holiday home in the south of France. What it includes: women’s and men’s collections, sport b., an accessories shop, a travel store, a florist, a chocolate boutique, a traditional French restaurant, and a lush, sun-filled atrium. Agnes b. fans, this is your one-stop shop. Swipe (your credit cards) away!

I originally intended to have afternoon tea at the traditional French restaurant Le Pain Grillé, but it looked too dark and serious so instead we opted for the sun-filled atrium cafe.

Visually speaking, the cakes at agnes b. cafe don’t appeal much. I ended up choosing the purple Venezuela (40 HKD) because of its color, and it turned out to be a simple (delicious, but simple) dark chocolate cake. Nothing to sing about.

Having said that, the cafe is still a lovely place to sit around and people watch. Expect to wait a while on weekend afternoons – they only take reservations for the formal restaurant, not the cafe.

I probably won’t come back again, but La Loggia is worth a visit for the first timers. At 15,000 square feet, I do believe this is the biggest agnes b. collection one can find in this world…
