8:30 Wake-Up & Breakfast / 起床、早餐
Day 2 in Nasu, we woke to a world turned white. The kids’ faces lit up with awe, pure wonder twinkling in their eyes. It’s been a while since I’ve seen this much snow myself too.
第二天早上醒來，窗外是一片銀白世界。拉開窗簾的那一瞬間，孩子們的臉上寫滿了驚奇，眼裡有光。其實我自己，也好久沒見到這樣安靜又美的雪景了。
We settled into a window table in the hotel’s dining room, sipping hot drinks and feasting on warm breakfast plates while snowflakes floated lazily outside.

我們坐在餐廳靠窗的位置，一邊吃著熱騰騰的早餐，一邊看雪緩緩飄落。

10:00 Snow Play in the Forest / 雪林玩雪
After breakfast, snow play time. Walking on snow for the very first time, Em stretched out one cautious foot, pressed it into the powder, and – crunch. Within seconds, her hesitation melted. She was running in the snow, giggling and building snowmen with cheeks flushed pink from the cold. Each snowflake felt like a tiny spell of her own casting.
(I forgot to pack gloves for her though, what a rookie mistake.)
早餐後，我帶著 Em 走進飯店後方的樹林。第一次踏進雪地，她小心翼翼地伸出腳踩了一下 – “咯吱” – 那聲音和腳底的觸感，對她來說是全新的體驗。沒多久她就放開了，奔跑、堆雪人、在雪地上畫圖，臉頰凍得紅撲撲，卻捨不得停下。每一片雪花，都是屬於她的小魔法。
（這趟旅行竟然沒幫她準備手套，實在失誤…）

11:00 Onsen Break / 回房泡溫泉
We couldn’t stay out long with our less-than-ideal gear, but it was enough to fulfill Em’s Frozen dreams. Back in the room, we dipped into our private onsen to warm up again, then bundled back up for more snow-watching on the balcony.
因為裝備不足，沒能在雪地待太久，但也足夠讓她圓了一場冰雪奇緣夢。 回到房間泡了會兒溫泉，再次恢復元氣，又跑去陽台繼續賞雪。
12:30 Explore Takaku Otsu / 探索高久乙：WHITE NOTE / NASU SHOZO CAFE / GOOD NEWS NEIGHBORS
After a short rest, we headed out to explore a few spots in the Takaku Otsu area, not far from the hotel. Our first stop was WHITE NOTE, a lifestyle shop with a soft, curated touch. I picked up a few beautiful dishes and woven baskets – simple things, all chosen with care.
中午出發，開車前往飯店附近的高久乙地區，探索幾間感興趣的店鋪。第一站是 WHITE NOTE，一間選品溫柔的生活雜貨店，在這里找到幾只喜歡的碗盤和藤編籃子。空間簡單卻有質感，是能讓人慢慢逛、慢慢挑的地方。
Next: a must for coffee lovers, NASU SHOZO CAFE, one of the most iconic spots in the area.
接著是那須咖啡文化的代表店 NASU SHOZO CAFE。
We found a sunlit corner inside their glasshouse-like space. On a sunny day, sitting outdoors must be lovely too.
明亮的玻璃屋裡，挑了一個舒適的角落坐下。天氣好的時候，坐在戶外想必也非常享受。
We tried Viennese coffee, scone, cheesecake, all delicious. Even the unassuming-looking sandwich turned out to be delightful, with the addition of shiso leaves providing a refreshing touch. Happy with what we tasted, we picked up a few jars of coffee spread and coffee beans as souvenirs on our way out.
維也納咖啡、英式鬆餅、起司蛋糕都很不錯，連看似普通的三明治也有點驚喜 – 夾了紫蘇葉，風味清爽。吃完後，順手帶了咖啡抹醬和咖啡豆當伴手禮，心滿意足地離開。
Our last spot of the day: GOOD NEWS NEIGHBORS, a little community consisting of lifestyle brands with focusing on sustainability. The brands I had discovered yesterday at Chus actually all belong to GOOD NEWS NEIGHBORS, and it’s nice to be able to see them in their home base.
最後來到森林中的復合式空間 GOOD NEWS NEIGHBORS，是由一群木屋組成的可持續生活社區。昨天在 Chus 買到的幾個品牌，其實都來自這里，今天特別來造訪它的本營。
The whole area is designed in warm wood tones and earthen colors, blending into the surrounding nature. Though each store stands on its own, the paths and public areas tie them together into one cohesive space. Other than Brown Cheese Brothers, Sanaburi Lemon, and Butter no Itoko, we also found some popular brands like Tokyo’s Onibus Coffee.
社區被樹林環繞，店鋪設計都以木質調和大地色系為主，一眼看過去十分溫暖。店與店之間雖獨立，卻被自然流動的公共空間和小徑串聯得剛剛好。除了之前提到的 Brown Cheese Brothers、Sanaburi Lemon、Butter no Itoko 之外，還有東京咖啡名店 Onibus 等其他品牌。
Kids can run between trees while adults sip coffee or browse shelves. It’s both a shopping haven and a tranquil place to wander.
戶外空間也很適合孩子們跑來跑去。是一個既適合採買、也適合放鬆散步的地方。
16:30 Back to Hotel, Marshmallow Toasting / 回飯店，烤棉花糖
We returned to the hotel just in time for the 4pm marshmallow-toasting event held daily. It was Em’s first time roasting a marshmallow over an open flame – she was delighted beyond words.
傍晚前回到飯店，剛好趕上每天下午四點開始的烤棉花糖活動。Em 第一次體驗火邊烤棉花糖的樂趣，整個人幸福得不行。
Dinner was again at the hotel’s buffet restaurant – plenty of variety and consistent in quality. Oh, and a tip for the grown-ups: the dinner includes free-flow beer, wine, and cocktails🍷. Definitely a perk worth enjoying.

晚餐依然在飯店內自助餐廳解決，菜色豐富，品質維持水準。順帶一提，飯店的晚餐也包含無限暢飲的啤酒、紅白酒和調酒，有酒精需求的旅人可以好好把握 🍷。
