Merci, a three-story concept store in the fashionable and quirky Marais neighborhood, is a lavish showcase for the style of its founders Marie-France and Bernard Cohen (who also created Bonpoint) across fashion, home ware, cuisine, and the likes. Vintage clothing? Yes. Design furniture? Yes. Coffee shop? Yes. Boutique library? Yes. If that is not attractive enough, check this out: Merci is the first “Charity Store” in France and donates 100% of their profit to a charity association helping women and kids in Madagascar. Now how about that?

Lovely atrium with cool light fixtures.

Come for a light lunch.

Brands like Stella McCartney and Paul Smith helped to create Merci by offering some pieces 30 to 40% below the selling point of their own store.

Home ware.

Library? Bookstore? Cafe?

Meet Merci’s mascot, a Fiat 500 whose attire changes depending on the season, theme, and trend.

Très très cool. A must visit for design lovers!
