Chocolate, chocolate, and more chocolate. Awfully Chocolate started out in Singapore as a cake shop that sells only one thing – a dark chocolate cake between layers of dark chocolate fudge. To this date, the focus is still on chocolate, though the selection has expanded to white chocolate cakes, cupcakes, dark chocolate ice cream, truffles, and the likes.

Super Stacked Chocolate Cake, 25 RMB/100 g

We tried a slice of the super stacked chocolate cake, which consists of 6 layers of moist dark chocolate cake sandwiched between 6 layers of rich dark chocolate fudge. This decadent treat is sold by the gram, and each pre-cut slice is about 35 RMB. There are also other alluring alternatives such as banana chocolate cake and rum & cherry chocolate cake.
